Artwork
In addition to writing fiction, I’ve always had a passion for art. My first original character drawings date back to when I was seven (no, I won’t post those…), and when I discovered anime as a teenager, I spent untold hours trying to learn that expressive art style. Now that I’m older, I’ve gravitated towards more realistic styles, though with a hint of comic-style exaggeration.
Below are some of the maps and character illustrations of the world of The Flame God’s Saga I’ve done over the years. You can also follow me on IG: @rjestradawriter, where I regularly post more sketches and illustrations (but, first, don’t forget to claim your free story starring two of the characters featured below).

Character Illustrations
I’ve been drawing the various characters of The Flame God’s Saga for many (many) years now, long before I had even decided how the story would play out. I’ve tried different styles, materials, and rendering approaches over the years, and I’m excited to try new ones (e.g., pixel art) in the future.
